Travel Insurance
Kombi Cruz Tours recommends you have adequate travel insurance that covers illness, delays, loss of property etc.
Customers are prompt and prepared.
We require your pick-up point address at least 24 hours before departure. There is no refund for passengers who miss the bus because they changed their pick-up location and did not inform us or failed to arrive at the pick-up location for the scheduled departure time.

Please ensure your contact details are correct including your mobile phone number and email address. Your number will be used to make contact the week and then the day before your booked tour for confirmation.
Gift Vouchers
Gift vouchers are valid for 24 months from the date of issue. They are not redeemable after the expiration date. Always subject to tour availability. Redemption bookings must be made at least one week from the required travel date.
Vehicle Breakdown:
Kombi Cruz vehicles are of a superior standard and are maintained regularly to the highest degree to minimise vehicle breakdowns. However, even with this high attention to detail should one of our 50+-year-old vehicles encounter a breakdown beyond our control, Kombi Cruz will do our utmost to source a replacement vehicle. We have supportive and positive working relations with like companies in the region. In times of trouble, we do what we can to help each other out and keep customers beaming with smiles in their ultimate Kombi experience.
Limited Access to Vintage Vehicles
Some venues in the Margaret River Region have limited access, unsealed roads and substantial potholes and corrugations. Our vintage vehicles are lowered and do not travel well, or at all over some poor access roads and can have steep inclines/declines, this probably doesn’t look like much for a modern vehicle, but with our vintage kombi fleet, some are very low, so we need to let you know of our vehicle access clause in advance. The chauffeur will use their discretion regarding access, if they are concerned that it will cause damage to the vehicle they will not travel on this surface.
Hazardous conditions
We will not drive the kombis in hazardous conditions. This may include (but is not limited to) storms, hail, high winds, fire and floods.
Sunset and Beyond
The vintage Kombis do not go on the road in the dark or at dusk. Local wildlife and limited visibility are safety risks for our customers or drivers. Ideally, Kombi Cruz vintage vehicles prefer to be home and in bed at least half an hour before sunset. We can offer alternate modern vehicles from our fleet, or a recommended partner.
Insurance
Kombi Cruz Insurance Policy covers all authorised persons travelling in their vehicle en route to your destination.
Responsible Consumption of Alcohol
Tour guests who are consuming alcohol must be 18+ years of age and should not drink alcohol in the morning before tour pick-up time. Tour drivers monitor the safety and well-being of all passengers. Passengers that endanger or disrupt this priority, will be warned and potentially removed from the tour. Kombi Cruz vehicles are registered Passenger Transport Vehicles, and like all public transport vehicles, heavy fines apply to passengers for drinking on or beside the vehicles. Fines, additionally, are issued to our drivers when clients fail to acknowledge the laws. Disrespectful clients may be asked to leave a vehicle or tour and find their alternate way home, refunds will not be given. Wineries do not have BYO licenses therefore you may not bring alcohol for consumption. All wineries and breweries have a ‘Producer Only License’ which means that only alcohol made from that premises can be consumed on the premises.
Smoking/Vaping & Illicit Substances
Smoking, Vaping, and use of any form of illegal substance is not permitted in or around the vehicle at any time.
Pets
Sorry no pets, there are pet-friendly services in the Southwest which you can make arrangements to travel with.
Photographers
The hirer is responsible for briefing their photographer on the hire schedule of our vehicles. Kombi Cruz with your permission, will liaise with your photographers purely around the photographic and filmed material and perspectives, simultaneously seeking their permission for the use of their photographic material for our Website and Socials. Kombi Cruz is proud to be part of your celebrations and assumes permission for your professional photography on our website unless otherwise stated by the client or the photographer. Full accreditation will be given to your photographer on our website and socials.
Promotional work
Kombi Cruz is in high demand in the corporate market, wedding transport industry and Boutique Tours. All our fleet vehicle(s) are always kept in a pristine condition for optimal business function and availability. Any damage or cleaning costs resulting from impact caused by the client will be covered by you (The client).
Air-conditioning 60’s Kombis
Please note our vintage Kombi’s are original and do not have air-conditioning. In the main cabin of the kombi there is the luxury of having quarter vents, overhead directional vents and opening windows in the rear cabin, The Samba has front Safari windows which open up allowing for optimum ‘vintage style airflow’. Please consider this fact when booking one of our vintage vehicles. The Southwest Margaret River Region’s hottest month is February with a median average of 27 degrees Celsius, the hottest ever day on record is 39 degrees Celsius.
Our vehicles and your personal belongings
Kombi Cruz has storage capacity in baskets and containers under seats and in the rear of the vehicles. Vehicles are locked when clients are attending venues. Kombi Cruz takes no responsibility for lost or misplaced personal belongings or tour purchases on tours, weddings or promotional work. When booking with Kombi Cruz you acknowledge that Kombi Cruz staff are not to be asked to look after personal belongings.
Covid-19
Please ensure that you and your guests are up to date with the latest public health advice and regulations. This may include health department mandates such as mask-wearing, venue check-in, vaccination passports etc.
Cancellation policy
Kombi Cruz tour bookings cancelled outside 72 hours before the tour will incur a 10% administration/merchant fee. Kombi Cruz tour bookings are cancelled within 72 hours of the tour departing, and ‘no shows’ will be charged a 100% cancellation fee. Cancellations of a vehicle and driver of a wedding transfer booking outside of 14 days/within 30 days, will incur 75% cancellation fee. Cancellations within 14 days of the booked date of the vehicle and driver will incur a 100% fee. Charters require a $300 non-refundable deposit to secure the vehicle.
Dietary Requirements
Please do advise Kombi Cruz of any allergies or dietary requirements of all clients booking on tour, so we can ensure optimal awareness and safety.
Minimum Passenger Numbers
Kombi Cruz Tours needs to be viable to ensure we can continue operating our vehicles to the highest standard and paying our staff above award. We require at least four (4) passengers to operate any of our unique tours, whilst your tour booking is confirmed at the time of payment, please be aware that in the rare circumstance that we don’t meet these numbers, your tour may be cancelled. We will give you as much notice as possible and aim to ensure the Kombi Cruz experience is not missed.
Passenger Safety
Passengers are fully responsible for their medical conditions and safety during a Kombi Cruz tour, wedding or event. Kombi Cruz Tours will not be held responsible for any damage caused intentionally or otherwise to people or property/venues, passengers and/or organisers will be held liable to cover any additional costs incurred.
Damage to Kombi Cruz Vehicles
Our event vehicles are maintained in a superior condition. You are responsible for any deliberate or malicious damage caused to the vehicle or equipment by any passenger during the hire period. Damages will be calculated incurring repair and administration fees that will be issued to the client via invoice with legally binding consequences for non-payment.
Kombi Cruz Cancellations of a tour
Kombi Cruz is a professional business and prides itself on its excellent standard of vehicles and quality customer service. However, from time to time there may be impacts on a tour that are out of our control. In such cases, we reserve the right to cancel a tour at our discretion due to factors, which may include vehicle breakdown, bushfire, or severe weather. The safety of our staff and customers comes first. If a tour is cancelled completely, Kombi Cruz Tours will try to re-book the clients for a date convenient to both parties and refund monies in full. We reserve the right to alter any part of the itinerary without notice. We reserve the right to use alternate vehicles and operators where required. Every effort is made to provide the best touring experience, but no liability is accepted for any illness, injury, delay, inconvenience, loss or damage whilst on tour.
Dress Code and Water Bottles
We recommend smart casual attire for tours. Most wineries do not accept groups in dress-up costumes or outfits, and as such, neither can we. Respectful conduct is expected both in Kombi Cruz vehicles and at venues. In supporting sustainability plastic water bottles are no longer provided by Kombi Cruz. BYO water bottles can be refilled at all venues at no cost.
Weddings
To secure a booking of a vehicle for a wedding transfer date, a 30% non-refundable deposit is requested per vehicle booked. Bookings may include up to 4 hours with the chosen vehicle, which includes the vehicle detailed and prepared for the wedding, a driver, and transportation of up to 7 passengers in the Kombis and up to 4 passengers in the Porsche. Your photographer may take photographs of the vehicles, pre or post ceremony, if fitting in with time and must be pre-organized with Kombi Cruz. Kombis do not travel after sunset due to safety and local wildlife. Up to 4 hours includes time calculated for Kombi Cruz vehicles and drivers to drive to the pick-up and delivery location(s), with distance and wait time calculated by Kombi Cruz, and a buffer of 30 minutes additional time included for anticipated delays. Additional surcharges for distance, Sundays, and Public Holidays will apply. Clients may request to have photographs on or off-site with Kombi Cruz, which must be discussed and negotiated at the time of booking; such requests and changes on the day are unreasonable and cannot be facilitated. Any cancellation of a vehicle for a wedding booking will incur a minimum 30% deposit fee. Cancellations of a vehicle and driver of a wedding transfer booking outside of 14 days/within 30 days will incur a 75% cancellation fee. Cancellations within 14 days of the booked date of the vehicle and driver will incur a 100% fee. These fees are reasonable in terms of bookings that could have been sold to another customer. Additionally, Kombi Cruz pays drivers for bookings taken regardless of whether bookings go ahead or are cancelled. This is viewed as fair practice toward Kombi Cruz drivers and employees who have made commitments to make themselves available on booked dates well in advance.
Children/Minors
Kombi Cruz vintage vehicles are not equipped with anchor points for child restraints to be fitted. Our modern fleet has anchor points and if travelling with infants’ clients will be responsible for the supply and installation of child/seating restraints. Winery tours are specifically designed for adults. Children 14 years or older may join a tour at adult prices at the discretion of Kombi Cruz. Parents or legal guardians must accompany all children. No alcohol is to be consumed by minors (under 18 years of age). Kombi Cruz staff are not responsible for minors and cannot pick them up or drop them at a location without an adult or parent accompanying them.

Kombi Cruz prices are in Australian dollars (AUD) and include goods and services tax (GST).
